More light on 'Billa 2'

Ajith fans all over the state and some across the globe are eagerly awaiting the release of his much-awaited don story 'Mankatha' directed by Venkat Prabhu, which will have Ajith sporting the salt and pepper a la George Clooney look.

Now with 'Mankatha' soon going to see that light of day our 'Thala' is neck deep in his next project which, as we had already informed you, is 'Billa-2'. Looks like the don stories have a way of finding Ajith, or is it the other way round? Whatever be the case he is one hero who looks handsome in any role he essays.

'Billa 2', as many would already be aware, will be more like a prequel which will throw light upon how a normal guy, David, from Thuthukudi grows to become a don feared by many. Another interesting aspect is that the director of this film, Chakri Toleti, will use an EPIC camera for filming. 'Billa 2' is now the first ever Indian cinema to be shot using an EPIC camera. It was the same breed of EPIC Camera that was used by James Cameron to film 'Avatar 2'. So now you know what is common between 'Avatar 2' and 'Billa 2'

Now the latest is that, the director, Chakri Toleti went on a trip to Hyderabad, where he had gone location hunting for this film. After which he returned to Chennai and started work immediately with Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is scoring the tunes for this flick.

This movie has more expectations among fans than usual thala flicks as we'll get to see a younger Ajith through this movie..

Here is something common between Ajith Kumar’s Billa-2 and James Cameron’s Avatar-2. Ajith Kumar always prefers to have high-profiled cinematographers, make-up artists and costume designers to be a part of his projects. Naturally, Billa-2 is not an exception as the makers are planning to add more international feel to the film.

Director Chakri and cinematographer R.D. Rajashekar have decided to shoot the film with EPIC Camera @ 5K Resolution. This is the first Indian movie to be shot using this High Resolution camera. It is worth mentioning that James Cameron is filming his Avatar-2 using the same camera.

Chakri Toleti is now busy hunting for locations in Hyderabad and will soon kick-start the shooting.

அஜீத்தின் பிறந்த நாளன்று 'மங்காத்தா' படம் வெளியாகும் என்று பூஜை போடப்பட்ட அன்றே கூறி படத்தை தொடங்கினார் வெங்கட் பிரபு.

வெங்கட்பிரபு தனது பேஸ்ஃபுக் மற்றும் டிவிட்டர் இணையத்தில் 'மங்காத்தா' குறித்து பல்வேறு தகவல்களை கூறி வந்தார். அவரது பேஸ்ஃபுக் இணையத்தில் அஜீத்தின் ரசிகர்கள் எப்போது இசை வெளியீடு? எப்போது படம் வெளியீடு என்று கேட்டு வந்தாலும் படத்தின் இசை மற்றும் பட வெளியீடு தேதி எதுவும் கூறவில்லை.

இந்நிலையில் இன்று காலை 'மங்காத்தா' படம் குறித்து வெங்கட்பிரபு தனது டிவிட்டர் இணையத்தில் கூறியிருப்பது " மங்காத்தா படம் ஒரு ஆக்ஷன் த்ரில்லர் கதையாகும். ஆனால் அக்கதையிலும் சிறு சிறு காமெடி சீன்கள் இருக்கும். ஆனால் படம்  கண்டிப்பாக வெகு சீரியஸான த்ரில்லர் படமாகும்.

அஜீத் இப்படத்தில் வித்தியசமாக இருப்பார். படத்தின் இரண்டரை மணி நேரமும் பரபரவென்று இருக்கும்.. இது இதுவரை வந்த 'தல' படங்களை விட இது வித்யாசமான படமாக இருக்கும்.. தயாராக் இருங்கள் ! " என்று கூறி இருக்கிறார்.

முதலில் ஆகஸ்ட் 15ம் தேதி வெளியீட பணிகள் நடைபெற்று வருகின்றன என்று கூறி வந்தவர் இன்று,  "ஆகஸ்ட் 12 அல்லது 19  'மங்காத்தா' ஆட்டம் துவங்கும் ' என  கூறி இருக்கிறார்.

'மங்காத்தா' பாடல் மற்றும் படம் வெளியாகும் நாள் எது என்று அஜீத் ரசிகர்கள் ஆவலோடு காத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

அஜீத் நடித்து வெளிவர இருக்கும் 50 வது படமான 'மங்காத்தா' படத்தின் இசை வெளியீட்டு தேதி கூட இன்னும் அதிகாரபூர்வமாக அறிவிக்கபடவில்லை. ஆனால் அதற்குள் அஜீத் நடிப்பில் வெளிவர இருக்கும் அடுத்த படத்திற்கான வேலைகள் ஜோராக ஆரம்பித்து இருக்கின்றன.

அஜீத் நடிப்பில் தயாராக இருக்கும் படம் 'பில்லா-2'. இப்படத்தை 'உன்னைப்போல் ஒருவன்' இயக்குனர் சக்ரி  இயக்க இருக்கிறார். இப்படத்தின் படப்பிடிப்பு ஜுலை இரண்டாம் வாரத்தில் ஹைதராபாத்தில் துவங்க இருக்கிறது.

சாதாரண மனிதனாக இருந்தவன் எப்படி உலகத்தை மிரள வைத்த பில்லாவாக உருவானான் என்பதே பில்லா 2வின் கதை.

அஜீத் இதற்காக தீவிர பயிற்சி செய்து உடம்பை மேலும் மெருக்கேற்றி இருக்கிறார். இப்படத்திற்கு இதன் முதல் பாகமான 'பில்லா'வைப் போலவே அதி வேகமான திரைக்கதை அமைத்து இருக்கிறாராம் சக்ரி.
